The Student Services department is a vital part of Lakeshore Catholic High School. Our Student Services team supports students as they learn to set and pursue education and career goals, and to carry out their social responsibilities.
Student Services staff provide advice and support to students in choosing courses and future pathways. This is done in a variety of ways, including classroom visits, orientation and exit programs, post-secondary exploration activities, career exploration and individual assistance and short-term counselling.
The Student Centre - GATOR-AID
The Student Centre is a unique room that accommodates students who are on an IEP, part of our SUCCESS program, or ESL students. The room will house computers for assignment work, instructional courses such as Peer Helping, ESL and GLS/GLD. Resource Teachers will facilitate in-class teachers in providing support as needed. It is the “Hub” of the school in providing resources and supports. The Centre is available to students upon teacher initiated requests.
